Hotel has been recently renovated; rooms with modern decor. Bathroom/vanity area large, but toilet and shower room very small. Pool area and restaurant area is still under renovation. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to stay in the room for an additional $75 until 6pm. ...read more

We had a wonderful time on our vacation at this hotel destination. It was truly beautiful. When we arrived we were told the hotel had upgraded our room and it was a completely updated/renovated room. We enjoyed everything about this hotel from their restaurants to shopping. The hotel pool is being remodeled but you can still use it and hardly notice they are working on it. Be careful. Lots of construction! There were sidewalks around pool, rooms, and restaurants are all under construction. Did not get the type of room I was suppose to. So hotel gave us free parking ($20/day) and $50 toward restaurants/day. We just stayed out of our room. The Japanese gardens are great! Beach location was awesome! This hotel is under massive remodeling. Our first night we got an old room and I was very disappointed and not happy with the room. We complained the next morning and were moved into a newly remodeled room. It was awesome! Despite the pool area being torn apart it was a lovely place. This Marriott should not be listed as a resort. The rooms are terrible (small bathroom, room is dirty and old, no view / windows and old TV, not worth the money). I could of stay in a 3 Star hotel and gotten a lot better room and amenities! Most restaurants at the hotel were not open until 11am. ...read more
